Никола-Ленивец: разработка концепции территории арт-резиденций.

Design Competition for Artist Residence and Community/ Конкурс в проекте "Никола-Ленивец". Автономная некоммерческая организация «Центр поддержки архитекторов, дизайнеров, художников и представителей исполнительских искусств «АрхПолис» сообщает о проведении квалификационного отбора открытого конкурса на разработку Концепции территории арт-резиденций в проекте «Никола-Ленивец», подробности на сайте http://nikola-lenivets.com/konkurs/

Задачи конкурса

1. Разработка концепции развития территории арт-резиденций.

2. Разработка функционального зонирования территории арт-резиденций?.

3. Разработка концепции размещения объектов. в соответствии с функциональным зонированием территории.

4. Эскизный проект предлагаемых сооружений.

Этапы проведения конкурса:

1-й этап

28 мая - 9 июля 2012г.

Сбор заявок на участие в конкурсе. Интервьюирование конкурсантов.

К заявке прикладываются портфолио и эссе-обоснование интереса участника к теме развития Проекта «Никола-Ленивец» в формате MS Word, не более 1800 знаков.

Критерии оценки портфолио:

Опыт разработки малых поселений, парков.

Опыт применения эко-технологий и работы с природными материалами.

Опыт исследовательской или образовательной работы по изучению творческих резиденций, эко- и агротуристических поселений.

Публикации

2-й этап.

9 июля - 16 июля 2012г.

Отбор 15-ти победителей.

Фестиваль «Архстояние» 26-29 июля 2012г. Выставка портфолио победителей отборочного этапа. Круглый стол.

3-й этап.

17 июля - 29 сентября 2012г.

Разработка территориальной концепции и создание эскизных проектов (см. Техническое задание на разработку концепции развития территории арт-резиденции (113 га).

4-й этап.

29 сентября - 15 октября 2012г.

Работа жюри. Отбор победителей.

Призовой фонд

Гонорар отобранных участников конкурса: 100 000 руб.

Призовой фонд для победителей 4-го этапа:

1 место – 500 000 руб.

2 место – 400 000 руб.

3 место – 300 000 руб.

Design Competition for Artist Residence and Community

Archpolis, a non-profit organization for architects, designers, artists and the performing arts, is pleased to invite architects and planners to submit their qualifications for the first stage of a design competition in Nikola-Lenivets Park in the Kaluga Region of Russia. Fifteen finalists will be chosen for the second stage of the competition with the following objectives:

1. The conceptual design of a residential complex for artistsin residence and the supporting structures.

2. The creation of a zoning plan of the park, describing the functions of each zone.

3. The creation of a master plan whichfurther details the zones and their functions.

4. Schematic design of the residential complex for artists in residence and the supporting structures.

Contest stages:

Stage 1: May 28 – July 9, 2012.

Application for participation in the contest.

The applicants must attach a portfolio and an essay (no more than 1,000 words in MS Word format) explaining the potential participant`s interest in the development of Nikola-Lenivets project. Applicants might be contacted for further information or for interviews.

Portfolio assessment criteria:

• Experience in the development of small settlements and parks.

• Experience in application of eco-technology and work with natural materials.

• Experience in research and educational work related to study of art residences, ecological and agricultural tourist settlements.

• Publications.

Stage 2: July 9– July 16, 2012.

The selection of fifteen finalists.

Festival “Archstoyanie” July 26-29, 2012.

Exhibition of portfolios of the winners of the qualifying stage.Round Table.

Stage 3: July 17 – September 29, 2012.

Development of concept, masterplan and schematic design. (see Terms of Reference for development of concept of art residence community) (113 ha).

Work sessions:

August 1, 2012

September 1, 2012

Stage 4: September 29 – October 10, 2012.

Jury Deliberation and selection of winners.

Prize fund

Prize money for selected participants of the competition: RUB 100,000.

Prize pool for winner of the fourth stage:

· First place – RUB 500,000

· Second place – RUB 400,000

· Third place – RUB 300,000

Organizers have the right to use publication materials sent by the participants and reserve copyright.

The members of the jury will be announced in the near future.
